“Exploring the Universe: From Antarctica to the Stars” by Jose V. Siles, Ph.D.
Have you ever wondered how the Solar System, the stars and planets were formed? Do you think there can be life elsewhere in the Solar System? This talk will present a scientific journey from the Earth to the planets and beyond in search of these answers through one of the best places to look at the sky, Antarctica.

About the Speaker: Dr. Jose V. Siles received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunication and electrical engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. In 2010, he joined NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), California, USA, as a Fulbright Post-Doctoral Fellow, where he is a senior member of the engineering staff since 2012.
